Unused 2-Cylinder Toxic Gas Bottle Safety Cabinet Semi Gas Systems. This special purpose steel cabinet was designed to hold two high pressure cylinders of gas. A typical scenario would have one of them as an active reagent toxic, flammable hazardous gas and the other bottle an inert purge gas such as N2, Argon, etc.. The exhaust vent at the top would be attached to a suction plenum that would take any accidentally released gas and run it through a purge system the would render it harmless. The vents in the bottom of the front door are sized to match the airflow out the exhaust. The front safety glass opens to allow connecting and disconnecting the toxic gas bottle while confining any gas that might inadvertently escape. There are no holes in the gas jungle mounting plates and there are no scuff marks on the floor which leads us to conclude this unit was never actually used. It has sat for some time and the door seal shows some age. The special fire door type closer is included as shown below. Additional similar items may be listed separately or available on request.
