Plastic Check Valve Air Water Vacuum Pneumatic Gas 1/4 * Versatile range, pressure from 1-150 psi & vacuum 2-29" Hg * High temperature resistant, to 275° F * Chemical resistant, Kynar & Viton construction * Replace more expensive check valves, in many applications This is a high quality, low cost check valve that is usable for all sorts of gas and liquid applications, including automotive, shop, experimentation, science etc. The check has 1/4" barbed fittings, for use with 1/4" inside diameter, hose or tubing. The check valve measures ~.75 inches (~3/4") in diameter and it is ~1.7" (~1 11/16") long. The check valve has a Kynar (PVDF) body and a Viton check-poppet. Kynar is a high performance engineering plastic with outstanding resistance to chemicals, including all automotive fluids. Kynar is rated for temperatures up to 275 Degrees F. The Viton seal material has similar chemical resistance and higher temperature ratings. As with most plastics; the check can be used at higher temperatures with lower pressure ratings.
