This gage originates from the calibration lab of a mid west manufacturer that has discontinued operations. There is some very light surface grinding (see pics) that appears on the frame of the micrometer as a result of an employee removing some small certification control markings. It can easily be touched up and you would never notice it. As the attached pictures show, this gage has had very little use and is in excellent condition.
