The unit is designed to make up for losses, which occur primarily due to leakage. The GF50-1, assembled in the USA to rigorous standards, affords a quality trouble free system. The system comes completely assembled, wired and ready for installation with 50 Gallon polyethylene tank, bronze rotary gear pump mounted on a sturdy, four leg powder coated steel stand and ETL listed, NEMA 4X control panel with pressure transducer. Piping features include brass relief valve with return tubing to tank, brass check valve, brass ball valve, brass y-strainer and schedule 40 galvanized pipe and fittings. The GF50-1 Glycol Feed System designed to maintain a preset operating pressure in a closed loop system while assuring the proper level of freeze protection is preserved. Glycol solution is made up to the closed loop primarily to replace losses due to small leaks in the system. A pressure transmitter controls glycol addition. When the pressure in the loop drops below the low set point the pump starts and feeds glycol solution to the loop until the differential pressure is exceeded and the pump stops.
