MPA-30120 active down converter manufactured by ST Microwave Corp. Tested to work fine. I have no manufacturer’s specs for this item. My measurements showed that it was designed for RF and LO frequencies in the 4-9 GHz range and IF output frequencies in 0.3-1.2 GHz range. The module has approximately 18dB conversion gain. Optimum LO input power was +8dBm. Attached IF output spectrum demonstrates good performance of the module for +8dBm local oscillator (LO) input at 6 GHz and –60dBm RF input of 7.16 GHz which produces IF output of –42dBm at 1.16 GHz.
