One new shop made cross feed nut. Machined from SAE660 bronze. For Craftsman/Atlas 12" lathes with back lash adjustment to compensate for wear in screw and minimize or eliminate backlash. This nut has a 1/2"-10 L.H. Acme thread with a .374" dia. mounting boss and a 1/4-20 mounting screw. This nut is the taller version that Atlas used. The dimension from mounting surface to centerline of Acme thread is .765. I also make the shorter version with a .500 centerline height. Please compare these dimensions to existing part to determine compatibility. I am a retired toolmaker and have been making replacement parts for my own machines.
