Used to carry the night vision goggles and items, these cases come to you as shown below. I will say I had to fight to get one opened, even releasing the pressure valve did not help to much. However once I got it pulled apart and shut it back, I had no problem getting it reopened, but it was enough of a headache that I did not try and open them each up, so expect this issue. Made of Metal, they are definitely well used and can handle extensive beating and wear and tear. The inside padding, form fitted for the materials that they were designed for, is removable, whereas you can have it empty or place your own sort of form fitted padding in the box to carry something else. They are used, so expect the normal wear and tear and beatings of everyday field use and from the difficulty I had getting it opened, believe they have been sitting in surplus for some period of time. Closed with 6 of the hooks shown in the picture below, the two halves completely seperate once opened.
