Outside Micrometer 2 to 3 INCH (so it starts at 2") CONDITION: Very Good plus!!!! minor jap. wear - some age wear, etc. Box has substantial edge and side wear - some pieces have already fallen off, so keep in mind the box is very fragile - has some adjustment info. inside lid - Loose diagram with the parts of the micrometer plus some Caution information on opp. side. (hinge tears/wear) SOME DISTINCTIVE FEATURES OF THE SLOCOMB MICROMETER: - A large all-tool-steel screw - Exceedingly long and large bearing between screw and manin nut - Positive and spring adjustment in threads of screw - Decimal equivalents on thimbles on all sizes - Replaceable nuts and bushing allowing for economical repairs What you see is what you're getting!
