NEW WIRE WRAP PERFORATED CIRCUIT BOARD ! NR Large new electronic perforated "prototype" circuit board, No Reserve This perforated board has a surrounding isolated "ground and power plane" around the holes on each side of the PCB to minimize electrical "noise" on the power pins of the IC's. Perforated Circuit Board Description: This is a large never used "breadboard" used to test new electronic circuits. Typically, electronic hobbyist, technicians or engineers design & test new circuits on this platform before purchasing an expensive custom fabricated printed circuit board (PCB). The overall size of this large perforated board is 16.75"L x 13.00"W. It is silkscreened with a "grid-type" location system, label A to Y in one axis, 1 to 40 on the other axis. The grid location designators are silkscreened on both sides of the board. It has 3 open spaces for up to 50-pin, dual row, 0.1" spaced connectors. It also has four (4) edge-type connectors. The rows of perforated holes allow for the installation of typically spaced DIP parts (0.3", 0.4", 0.6", etc). Typically, wire wrap sockets are used with this perforated "prototype" board to build & test new electronic circuits. New electronic circuit designs can be wired up very quickly with wire wrap sockets. You can easily install & remove microcontrollers, digital logic, analog IC's , capacitors, resistors from sockets mounted to this board. The is low cost accessory for anyone that wants to design, build and test electronic circuits. Radio Shack offers many DIP-type integrated circuits for electronic hobbyists. The large size allows for the construction of several electronic designs all on one platform. Makes designing circuits much easier to modify on a perforated circuit board with wire wrap sockets.
