These double-buffered D/A converters are very useful and versatile because they are single-supply (Vcc up to 17VDC) microprocessor-compatible and CMOS-compatible (your not chained to a dual power supply or 5-volt TTL logic). Most of the DAC ICs I use are 8-bit DACs so I don't have a huge need for 12-bit DACs. However, I recently purchased a ton of these - more than I use in a lifetime even if I did much more 12-bit designs, so I am selling off a small percentage of my stock. LIMITED QUANTITY!
