Pack of 10 Bi-Colour, Ultra-Bright RED & YELLOW 3mm LEDs, with water-clear lens. They have 3 leads - the centre lead being the common cathode (connected to negative part of power supply) With positive supply to the longer of the other 2 leads the LEDs lights red, & with positive to the shorter lead it lights yellow. These will fit straight into an xbox as a direct replacement for the green/red LEDs fitted as standard. The basic specs for these LEDs are as follows: A question we get asked all the time is "how do I connect these LEDs to a higher voltage, such as 5V or 12V?" To do this you need to connect a resistor in series with the LED. Common values are as follows: To use a common value, just use the value given for the red LED, this will only give a slight reduction in the brightness of the blue LED.
