The Model 635 tube tester is a portable instrument providing high speed testing of T.V., Radio and Industrial types of tubes. The accessory compartment in the luggage -style carrying case holds the test cable for picture tubes, the line cord and the cap for tube testing. Foreign tubes and certain transistors can be also tested. This tester was sold in 1975. The book copyright is 1970. Therefore any tubes or transistors after 1970 may not be found in the booklet. The tube tester is in very good clean and undamaged condition. It was well taken care of. One noticable scratch can be seen below the word "Tester" on the base. The carrying case with handle is also in very good condition with just a couple scuff marks. I personally have used this type of tester and found it to be very dependable. This tester was tested and seems to be in working correctly. The booklet is clean and has addendum papers included. A complete tube chart is inside the booklet. The brown folder has paperwork on who bought it and when and where. This will test 7, 8, 9, and 12 pin tubes. It tests 5 and 7 prong transistors. Sold with no warrenties. Please read instructions carefully before operating the tester. This would make a great addition to your testing equipment. If uninsured, I will not be responsible for lost or damaged items.
