The resulting Freeduino Eagle SCH, BRD and Gerber production files will allow users to create boards that are 100% functionally, electrically and physically compatible with Arduino hardware. Freeduino also comes with a free and unrestricted license to use the Freeduino name, which is why we call it... Freeduino. This is part of the first 100% functioning prototype run. Arduino is an open-source physical computing platform based on a simple I/O board and a development environment that implements the Processing/Wiring language. Arduino can be used to develop stand-alone interactive objects or can be connected to software on your computer. the open-source IDE can be downloaded for free (currently for Mac OS X, Windows, and Linux). NotesThe board comes assembled and tested. It has the blinking LED sketch pre-loaded. Some boards may have the RX / TX pin labels inverted. Correct labeling is: Only the labels are inverted.
