Tektronix Type 561A Oscilloscope Front Panel When it comes to making an oscilloscope look like new, the front panel is the toughest. Right up front where everyone can see it, the panel takes a lot of beating over the years. Dents, scratches and those epoxyed-on tags make it look pretty natty. Often, the only way to fix it is to replace it. But where to get one? Well, here is your chance. I will be offering panels for most Tektronix tube scopes and plugins at reasonable prices. How hard are they to replace? For the most part, quite easy. Usual time is about a 1/2 hour. Removal of connectors is usually the worst part. Take a look at your unit to see what has to come off and how hard it looks. I would be glad to give any advice I can, just email me.
