These two new products are designed to protect early responders in non-IDLH atmospheres containing chemical agents, biological agents and radioactive dust. Intended end users include Fire Fighters and Police Officers, Emergency Medical Service personnel, Hazmat and other Emergency Response Teams. The North 54400 series gas mask has a 40 mm threaded connector that accepts USA/Military, EN and NATO type thread canisters, and meets the permeation requirements for US Military masks. THe North Model 40NBC (NOT INCLUDED) is a gas mask canister that meets the performance requirements of NATO and US Miltary specification as a Nuclear, Chemical, Biological Canister (US Army C2A1).
