The load mover air platform measures 209 inches long by 41 inches wide by 5 inches high(when activated). It hovers on 8 air cushion pads. The initial use for the platform was to relocate a robotic arm camera system to various area of a sound stage. As you can see in one of the images posted the robotic camera system was larger than the platform and weighed approximately 2 to 2 1/2 tons. When it was powered up with air from the compressor unit it could be moved around by one individual with ease.
