ATTENTION Retail Business Owners! This is a low cost way to keep your inventory from walking out the back door! This alarm mounts directly on the door at several possible locations. * It can mount on the lock side of the door. * And can also be mounted at the top of the door by rotating it 90 degrees. The only critical mounting requirement is that it be no more than 3/8" from the magnet that will be mounted on the soffit of the door frame.(This becomes the "trigger") Since the unit is attached to the door, as soon as the door opens the alarm is moved away from the magnet, along with the door and a very loud alarm sounds (100 db) to notify you that the door has been opened by an unauthorized person. This alarm uses a mortise cylinder for arming and disarming control. This control cylinder is included and is installed in the alarm for you. (That's more than a $25.00 value, FREE!) All you'll need to do is attach the alarm to the door, with the screws provided, using the enclosed rigid template shown in the second picture below, and the included magnet to the jamb at the proper location. Oh yes, you'll need to plug in the 9 volt battery, included also, and reinstall the cover. It's so easy that your mom (or dad) could do it. The battery life is directly proportional to the amount of unauthorized use and length of alarm output. Normal use will require you to replace it about once a year. If it gets low on power you'll hear a chirping sound every few seconds, just like your smoke alarm in your house, to alert you that a new battery is needed. That's all there is to it! What could be easier?
