UHMW is a slippery plastic that resists most chemicals and is very easy to machine. It is most often used in woodworking jigs, robotics and is food safe. 1. Please follow all safety recommendations of the power tool manufacturers for any power tools you are using on this product. 2. DO NOT ALLOW THIS PRODUCT TO IGNITE. Burning UHMW smells like burning candles, but the drippings are NOT WAX, and can cause 2nd and 3rd degree burns.
