Nylatron is a nylon based thermoplastic material with very low friction coefficient. It retains the high impact strength of Nylon but low friction coefficient due to the addition of moly-disulfide additive. This material is extremely durable, stiff and hard and is ideal for wear parts, or wear pads were another material will slide. It is machineable with conventional tools. It is dark gray in color.
