HC12 Series motherboard with an interchangeable PM912Dxx module. The CMD912-xx is a versatile hardware / software development platform for the Motorola MC9S12DP256 (STAR12), MC68HC912DG128, and C68HC912D60, and other HC12 microcontrollers. The Personality Modules: PM12*DP256, PM12DG128, or PM12D60 determines CMD912-xx microcontroller personality when ordering. The Personality Modules are interchangeable and can be ordered separately. The System provides operation in Single-Chip or Expanded Wide Bus Modes and offers a Port Replacement Unit (PRU) to replace bus and control ports (A, B, E, & K) while debugging code for single chip applications in the external ram memory. The system is supplied with firmware Monitor / Debugger installed in external ROM with programming support utilities. Features provide for easy selection of operation mode, flash programming, BDM operation, Keypad and LCD module connections, and prototyping. After code is operational the user may relocate the code and program the HC12 devices internal Flash for dedicated operation of new software. No additional hardware or software is required.
