VICTOREEN / NUCLEAR ASSOCIATES, model #06-505, personal digital alarm dosimeter. Unit is in used / working condition and runs on (1) 9-volt alkaline battery (available everywhere)-not included. The unit has an internal GM tube / high-voltage supply and can be set to alarm at user selectable dose increments in millirems via of an exterior ten position switch. Unit also has an on-off switch, digital L.E.D. 4-digit readout accessed by a push-button momentary switch-I assume to save battery power. Unit beeps when it reaches your pre-set dose increment and has a small opening on back of unit to access the momentary board-mounted switch that resets the L.E.D. screen. Unit also has a substantial belt clip to wear the unit. The unit appears to work fine, but I am just thinning out my collection of these gadgets. At one point I had an internet-downloaded instruction manual for the unit, but I have since misplaced it. My description explains all aspects of operation and use should not be a problem.
