Test sheet I received with this unit stated electrical problem. Turned out the HD was bad so I installed a new one. Old software was A02.70.00 and the new drive has A02.90.00, which should be the latest and greatest! HD, mainframe, keyboard and 16610A pass all internal self tests. This should all be visible in the pictures. However please note, to run the HD a manual boot procedure must be performed. Takes about 30 seconds and is very simple. Turn on, wait till says Primary Boot path invalid (or similiar) then simply type: SEArch (wait 20 sec) the type BOot P0 (wait 5 secs) Type: N It's that easy! - Mainframe: 5 measurement modules, 2 emulation modes - Maximum state clock: 100Mhz - 1Ghz/s depending on module selection - Maximum state timing sample rate: 500Mhz - 4Ghz/s depending on module selection - Memory depth: 4K to 4M depending on module selection - Also known as a Processor Probe. - Only several available around the web. All priced at $795 each - More info about the 16610A may be viewed at http://www.home.agilent.com/upload/cmc_upload/All/EPSG070347.pdf It is missing one of the filler panels in the back, but one will need to be removed anyways to put a card in to use this 16702A.
