LUBRICATION ENGINEERS - 6402 MONOLEC R & O Compressor / Turbine Oil R&O and AW 46 Turbine Oil, long life. MONOLEC® Turbine Oils are designed to combat the effects of high temperatures, oxidation, water, contaminants, and heavy loads which accelerate wear. They are specially formulated with refined paraffinic oils which are inherently resistant to heat, oxidation and moisture. Their performance is enhanced by a highly effective oxidation inhibitor which gives protection far above that ordinarily found in commercial turbine oils. 6402 is ISO 46. These turbine oils reduce wear and power consumption. In addition, they will minimize carbon varnish and sludge formation by their high VI paraffinic base oils. As a result of lower friction and wear, operating temperatures will decrease. In addition, a highly effective foam suppressant breaks up air bubbles, assuring a dense and uniform lubricant layer. Carefully selected and refined paraffinic base oils are highest in moisture resistance and will not readily mix with water. Therefore, accumulated excess water can be easily drained off. Rust is controlled by the protective action of MONOLEC®. Lower maintenance and replacement costs are achieved through reduced wear, decreased deposit/sludge formation, lower operating temperatures and longer oil life. This translates into 4-6 times extended drain intervals versus ordinary oils and less capital outlay as equipment lasts longer.
