The Monroe Electrostatics Model 244 Isoprobe® Electrostatic Voltmeter is the fifth generation of Monroe Electronics' electrostatic voltmeters. It measures the surface potential of insulating, semiconductive or conductive materials on a small 0.03"(1.0mm) dia. spot or over a large area, using patented techniques which assure high-accuracy drift-free measurements almost independent of probe-surface distance. With the Model 1017 high-frequency probe (Not Included), the Model 244 offers superior response speed (<3mS for a typical input step) throughout its ±3kV range. Readings are displayed on a 4-digit LCD. Most earlier Monroe Electronics probes may be used with the model 244, though with the Model 1009 probe an inexpensive adapter is required. Typical applications include xerography, electro-photography, electret measurements, and charge accumulation and control. * Accuracy better than 0.1% at almost any probe-surface spacing Item also includes a Power Cord, No probe * Our hours of operation are M-F, 10-5PM Pacific Standard Time.
