JL Industries Ladder Safety Post This post extends up above ladders to assist workers climbing through access hatches where there is nothing safe to grab onto. There is a loop for a lanyard/safety line on one end. The ladder post LP-5 is fabricated out of high strength galvanized steel with a sliding tubular section which automatically locks when fully extended. A stainless steel spring mechanism controls upward and downward movement. Includes brackets for attachment to ladder rungs. JL Industries states this item meets ANSI A14.3 and OSHA requirements.
