Tektronix 7A13 Service & Operating Manuals in both Very High and in Standard Resolution PDF on CD (Two Volumes Covering All Serial Numbers) Why settle for just one resolution? You get them both! (Please read FAQ or "About Me" Page) These Manuals cover the two series of 7A13 models in two volumes. You actually receive 6 PDF "volumes" on the CD, because for each 7A13 series there's a very high resolution scan, a standard res scan, and a foldouts scan. The first series is serial numbers B19999 and below, covered by Tektronix manual number # 070-0978-00. The second series starts with serial numbers B20000 and above, and is covered by Tektronix manual number 070-1948-00. The Very high res and standard res complete manual PDFs include complete operating, maintenance and calibration procedures, complete parts lists, board component locators and schematic diagrams. The foldout PDFs include the schematics and board diagrams that are larger than 8.5x11". To be clear: foldout pages are included not only as 17x11" scans in the "foldouts.pdf" documents, but ALSO as 8.5x11" scans in the "main" manuals. The very high resolution document specifications are: Text with Drawings at 600dpi black and white Schematics at 600dpi black and white Text with photos at 600dpi grayscale with contrast adjusted Schematics, board overlays that have color notes at 600dpi 256 colors Foldout pages in both 8.5x11" (A4) -AND- 17x11" (A3). This resolution looks nice, but for many purposes uses excessive resources. You can copy the large file to the hard drive in an attempt to achieve maximum performance, but having that be a necessity is certainly of no benefit to you. Therefore, although it's great to have this resolution for those times you need higher definition (such as printing), we include the second scans in standard resolutions for daily research and use on the bench. The second scans are done in resolutions that vary depending on individual page content, but are never higher than needed to produce a useable quality, quickly navigable file that will do the job without consuming more time and resources than are needed. And they're fully bookmarked, extensively hyperlinked, and utilize both the chapter-page ("page numbers = paper manual page numbers") -AND- sequential numbers. On the CD you'll receive the large "very high resolution" files, plus the smaller, faster and often more useable text-searchable versions. ALL original manual pages are supplied. Some vendors proudly advertise page counts and file sizes, but since those counts and sizes are very often artificially inflated with advertising and/or blank pages, we refrain from joining them and instead assure you that these manuals are complete and are scanned in the specified resolutions.
