This machine is currently in production making parts at our Baltimore, MD facility and can be viewed any time with appt. Upon purchase we will move production to a different machine and prep the machine for moving. This will take us 48 hours max. Jorgenson chip conveyor has been completely disassembled and cleaned 6 months ago and works perfectly. Full 1 horsepower coolant pump blasts coolant at extremely high pressure for high speed insert milling tools. This machine has the tool length setting probe that works perfectly. This was an $8,000 option when the machine was purchased new. Just put your tools in, bring up the tool set program, press the button and watch as the machine automatically takes each tool out of the carosel and checks the length of the tool. You can also program it to check in cycle for tool wear and switch to an alternate tool when needed. An assortment of 8 cat 40 tools are included as well at about 40 pull studs for this machine. Also included is an SPI 40 taper tool vise which is attached to the machine. Complete set of manuals included. Machine is underpower in Baltimore, MD and can be demonstrated at any time with appt. Currently wired for 220 volts and equiped with automatic transformer to be wired for 440 volts if nec. A counterbalance air cylinder located next to the spindle carrier provided a consistant lift renedering the spindle head weightless and provides for less wear on the ways and ballscrews as well as quick and accurate rapid movements. The cylinder system works perfectly and is totally fuctional hence the hissing sound when the spindle rapids downward, the air is releasing as the cylinder pressurizes to maintain a constant 80 psi. The cylinder is housed in a sheet metal cover next to the z axis way.
