If you have ever been shocked while testing a high-voltage circuit, then you have a clear understanding as to just how critical high voltage probes are for electronic laboratory work! I strongly recommend using high-voltage probes for testing all circuits with voltages over 100 volts for all heart-healthy persons, and for much less voltages if you have heart problems or heart pacemaker or any other implanted electronics, as well as to take all other prudent measures to prevent painful shocks and possible electrocution.
