This machine was purchased new, by me, in 1998. It was delivered to the International Woodworking show in Atlanta. You may have seen it there. It was used daily during the first four years, weekly during the next two years, and very little during the last four years. It is an extremely clean machine in excellent condition, both mechanically, and cosmetically. I am anal about maintenance. All functions of the machine perform flawlessly, including CNC automatic length positioning, with outstanding repeatability. One extra not usually seen on this machine is an adjustable pneumatic workpiece positioner in the hopper. The original was hydraulic, non adjustable, and damaged or bowed workpieces in the hopper. I made Friulmac replace it. The new positioner is excellent. It is shown in the photos. I have the original if you want it, but the pneumatic is far superior. The machine was ordered with the optional motorized transfer which was used in conjunction with a Diehl 205 moulder (The moulder will be available here in a few weeks with or without the tenoner. The pair would make an excellent choice for a small, custom flooring application, or for production of stiles, and rails.) I manufactured window grilles...very small, thin, profiled parts, that do not feed or stack well...and this machine did an excellent job. Molder blanks into the hopper feed on the moulder, out of the moulder to the transfer feeder on the end tenoner, into the hopper of the tenoner, and through the tenoner, all with electric eye control. One good man can run it all. I have a wiring diagram which shows how to connect the electric eye stop on the tenon feeder to the moulder feeder, allowing them to stop simultaneously via electric eye. I never connected it, but it would be a good idea for inexperienced operators. Other than routine maintenance, I had to replace the hydraulic vane rotor. It still worked well but was leaking about a quart of hydraulic per week, and I hate leaks. I replaced it with a new one (one day delivery from Friulmac) I have the original, if you would like to have it rebuilt as a spare. I assume it is the only moving part that will not last ten years. Friulmac quoted $500.00 for rebuild. There are absolutely no hydraulic leaks, since replacement of the rotor. This is an extremely clean, reliable,and well maintained machine, that does not show it's age. It is very simple to set up, adjust, and maintain; with a lot of capacity for such a small footprint. New cost was $62,877 delivered. The machine probably has fewer hours than most two or three year olds you may find, and looks and functions as least as well, if not better.
