Hedge cutter side arm flail to suit a compact tractor of around 20+hp, minimum wheel track of 1.2m. The maximum horizontal reach with the head on the ground is 3.0m and the maximum vertical reach is 3.3m. It is fitted with a 800mm wide cutting head complete with universal "Y" flails suitable for cutting hedges and grass and an adjustable rear roller. This machine has its own hydraulic system, 23hp hydraulic pto driven pump (540 rpm) and 55 litre oil tank (supplied full of oil) and cable controls to operate from the tractor seat. Its not a pump that you slide onto the tractors pto shaft - it is a built in pump supplied with a new pto shaft. It weighs 310kg so please be sure your tractor will lift it. It has cat1 linkage pins and stabilisers to keep the unit ridgid on the tractor when moving the arm. You may need to get some long cat1 style pins to attach the stabilisers to your specific tractor. The flail rotor can be used in both directions which is better for cutting hedges and grass and turns at 3000rpm. There is a mechanical breakback system to avoid any damage if you hit imovable objects. The machine is fully CE approved and comes with a comprehensive operators manual and parts/service book and pto shaft.
