Model - MS-260, Serial Number 1386, 44 KW, 110 Amps 240 Volts 60 Herz, 3 Phase This furnace came out of a aluminum coating production line, where it was acting as a molten aluminum resevoir. It needs a crucible to operate. One wall has a hole where there was a ceramic pipe which flowed molten aluminum over to a second furnace. Where the hole passes through the side of the furnace, the heating coil has been removed to make room. The heating panels look very clean. Each heating coil has about 17 ohms resistance. Each phase has about 3 ohms resistance to the other. The oven box is about 48" wide x48" long. Dynarad sells the stock crucible at about $1000 USD.
